Spare Parts
When the Russian owned firm Belarus
Tractors and trading Pty Ltd was placed under administration in 1997 and
subsequently closed their doors the entire spare parts operation was
purchased by Australian Machinery Sales (Ausmac).
The net result was that, although Belarus Tractors and Trading were no
more, there was no interruption in the parts supply to the many owners
of Belarus tractors, Don Headers and other equipment sold over the years
by Belarus Tractor and Trading.
This is still the case, with parts being provided for the entire range
from 29hp right through to 330hp as well as other Russian equipment. In
fact Ausmac probably have the largest Belarus parts holding in the
Southern Hemisphere and they maintain these stock levels with regular
shipments from overseas to ensure back up for the entire range.
Since taking over from Belarus in Sydney Ausmac have put a great deal of
effort in not only getting the best quality available but also to get
the cost of these parts down much affordable levels.
In quiet a few cases this has been done by buying directly from the same
place the tractor factory buys from. The slogan "We will not be beaten
on price on any part in our stock" is not an empty promise.
